About the mahi (role)
Due to the growth of our services in the Wairarapa an opportunity has arising for a Senior Physiotherapist to join the TBI Health: Masterton team. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated clinic-based Physiotherapist to join our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) currently consisting of Physiotherapists, Hand Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and a Psychologist.
You will work under a wide variety of ACC contracts including Integrated Care Pathway, Pain Management, Vocational Rehabilitation, Training for Independence, and clinic-based services along with delivering rehabilitation through private funders such as Southern Cross and NIB.
You will embrace a collaborative approach to patient care by working closely with an integrated MDT and uphold our commitment to delivering excellent rehabilitation services with a patient-centric focus and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients through comprehensive and compassionate care.
Extensive training and/or mentoring will be given depending on your experience level and you will be supported by the Clinic Manager and other members of the team.
Ideally, you will work 40 hours per week, however, we can offer flexibility in working hours.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a great attitude and shares our vision and values. A minimum of 4 years’ experience for a Senior Clinician, although consideration will be given to candidates with less.
Substantial orientation, training and support will be provided.
To be successful in this role you will have:
A genuine interest in the area of rehabilitation
Experience of being a Lead Provider / Keyworker on ACC contracts is preferable however not essential.
A strong work ethic
A positive, can-do attitude
A desire to achieve clinical excellence
Very good organisational and communication skills
An ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
A commitment to professional development
A current practicing certificate to work in New Zealand, full Professional Body Membership, and full Indemnity Insurance
Bachelor’s degree or above qualification
