About the mahi (role)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist with an interest in clinic work and rehabilitation to join our fun, vibrant and growing team in Ellerslie!
Alongside a supportive team and with substantial training and mentoring, the successful candidate will be required to provide a wide variety of different services within the clinic environment with opportunity to work from other TBI Health sites around Auckland. The varied caseload would include acute ACC med fees, ACC contract work, early intervention, private clients and more. With the variety of work comes the opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their strengths, moving more towards the area they are passionate about.
The successful candidate will be working alongside a highly experienced clinical team including physiotherapists, a hand therapist, a psychologist, visiting specialists and will have full time administration support.
The key tasks include patient assessments and treatments, administration and reporting, liaison with colleagues, funders, and employers, and team meetings and trainings.

Desired Skills and Experience
About you
Ideally, we are looking for a full-time Physiotherapist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Interest in and open to working independently at one of our existing satellites or supporting the setup of a new satellite clinic would be advantageous.
Substantial orientation, training and support will be provided.
To be successful in this role you will have:

Very good organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage your time and workload efficiently.
An ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
A commitment to professional development.
A current practicing certificate to work in New Zealand, Full Professional Body Membership, and Full Indemnity Insurance.
Current full clean driver’s licence.
Bachelor’s degree or above qualification
About the team
Be part of a friendly, supportive Ellerslie clinic team and wider Auckland team (58 staff and growing) who get together quarterly to review goals, work through case studies, and catch up over some kai. Beautiful East coast beaches a few kms from Ellerslie clinic, peaceful Cornwall Park only 2km from the clinic and plenty of local options for good food within walking distance at cafes or within Ellerslie village.
