Job Description

About the Mahi (Role)

Join our Rotorua Clinic as a part-time experienced Physiotherapist.

We are continuing to expand and grow our team! The clinic currently consists of senior occupational therapist, an experienced occupational physiotherapist, and hospital and community physiotherapists. We are looking for a physiotherapist to join our team to ensure we continue to provide comprehensive rehabilitation solutions for our clients and take advantage of everything this region has to offer!

The role will include:

  • Providing acute post-operative hospital based care at our partner Southern Cross Hospital Rotorua (2 days a week and weekend work required).
  • Providing manual handling training to hospital staff
  • Providing patient education, training, treatment, and rehabilitation 
  • Liaise with external partners such as specialists, GP's, and other allied health professionals

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

The applicant requires a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience

Substantial orientation, training, and support will be provided.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An interest in the area of acute post-operative rehabilitation
  • A strong work ethic
  • A positive, can-do attitude 
  • A desire to achieve clinical excellence
  • Very good organisational and communication skills
  • An ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • An awareness of how to provide top-quality customer service
  • A commitment to professional development
  • A current practicing certificate to work in New Zealand, and Indemnity Insurance
  • Current full clean driver’s license
