About the Mahi (Role)
Are you a motivated Physiotherapist who has a passion for delivering high-quality rehabilitation?
We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our well-established Blenheim clinic in a permanent full-time role.
In this dynamic clinical role, you’ll work within a fully integrated interdisciplinary rehabilitation team delivering exceptional, client-centred care. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across disciplines to ensure your clients receive the best possible outcomes.
Your caseload will be varied and rewarding, including Med Fees, Pain Management, Integrated Care Pathways (ICP), Training for Independence, Early Intervention Services, and more.
The day-to-day key responsibilities will include:
Conducting client assessments and designing individualised treatment plans
Collaborating with funders, employers, and multidisciplinary colleagues
Writing reports and maintaining accurate clinical records
Attending team meetings and participating in ongoing training sessions
You will have the chance to apply your clinical skills while continuously developing through ongoing training, mentoring, and support from the Clinic Manager.
About the Blenheim Team
The Blenheim team is made up of skilled Physiotherapists, an Occupational Therapist, and an outstanding Administrator who all work together to foster a supportive and enjoyable working environment.
You will be based at the modern Blenheim Health Hub, conveniently located in the town centre – just steps away from local cafes, parks, and community spaces. There is a great coffee shop just opposite our clinic, and free car parking is only a 5-minute walk away.
We have strong connections within the region to provide a holistic approach when working with clients. Together we have developed a big and positive footprint in the community.
Be part of a team that has achieved some great things in the equity space as well. We continue to increase the cultural capability of the team and build new networks in the community with Māori health providers and local iwi.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
This is a clinical role, therefore, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy.
We are open to receiving applications from Physiotherapists of all experience levels, as full training will be provided.
Previous experience working with ACC contracts or Gensolve would be an advantage to the candidate.
