Job Description

About the Mahi (Role)

We’re looking for a Senior Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Wellington Concussion Team.

If you’re seeking the freedom to manage your own schedule and complete reporting and admin tasks from home, we offer the work-life balance you’ve been looking for.

You’ll be an enthusiastic, motivated clinician with a passion for concussion rehabilitation, working as part of an experienced and supportive interdisciplinary team. Services are delivered under the ACC Concussion and Training for Independence contracts.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing patient education, training, treatment, and rehabilitation in a variety of community settings.
  • Liaising with external partners such as specialists, GPs, and ACC to ensure seamless rehabilitation.
  • Completing documentation and admin tasks from home, with flexibility around your schedule.

We’re a collaborative, experienced team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with 2 to 25+ years of experience. We value laughter, teamwork, and delivering high-quality care—for both our clients and each other.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

You’re someone with a positive attitude who aligns with our kaupapa and values. Ideally, you’ll bring at least 4 years of clinical experience, with a background or interest in concussion rehabilitation. Vestibular rehab experience is a plus for Physiotherapists.

Substantial orientation, training and support will be provided.

  • An ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

  • A current practicing certificate to work in New Zealand, Professional Body Membership, and Indemnity Insurance
  • Current full clean driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s degree or above qualification
