Job Description

About the Mahi (The Role)

We are looking for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant and supportive Wellington Concussion Team.

Whether you are just starting out or bring years of experience, we want to hear from you! We are open to all levels of experience and will tailor support and development to suit your career stage.

If you are seeking genuine work-life balance, this role offers the freedom to manage your own schedule, with flexibility to complete admin and reporting tasks from home.

You will be a motivated, compassionate clinician with an interest in concussion rehabilitation, working within a multidisciplinary team under the ACC Concussion and Training for Independence contracts.

Your core duties will include:

  • Providing education, training, treatment, and rehabilitation in a range of community-based settings
  • Collaborating with GPs, specialists, ACC, and other stakeholders to support seamless rehab
  • Completing clinical documentation and admin from home, on your schedule

You will be part of a fun, experienced team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, ranging from 2 to 25+ years of experience. We value teamwork, laughter, and delivering exceptional care — for our clients and each other.

Benefits of joining TBI Health

At TBI Health, we value your passion and commitment — and we give back with meaningful benefits:

  • Competitive salary + bonus structure
  • Subsidised Southern Cross health insurance
  • Birthday leave & annual wellbeing allowance
  • Mobile phone, laptop, and access to a shared pool vehicle
  • Annual career development fund (for courses, conferences, post-grad study)
  • Pathways into supervision, training, and quality roles
  • Comprehensive internal training & support
  • Regular sessions on incorporating Māori tikanga into your practice
  • Company-wide recognition and reward initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

You must have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy, along with NZ registration, APC, indemnity insurance, and a full, clean driver’s licence.

You will bring a positive attitude that aligns with our kaupapa and values. Whether you're early in your career or bring years of experience, we would love to hear from you.

An interest in concussion rehabilitation is essential, and vestibular rehab experience is a bonus for Physiotherapists. Full orientation and support will be provided.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A strong interest in concussion rehab
  • A can-do attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing development
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A customer-focused approach to care
