About the Nelson Team
Nelson really needs no introduction — it’s famous for its sunshine, stunning natural beauty, local wines, and even world-famous peanut butter! Whether it’s mountain biking, beach walks, or snow on the hills in May, the Nelson-Tasman region offers an incredible lifestyle all year round.
Our Nelson-Tasman team is a close-knit, multidisciplinary group of 14, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise therapists, psychologists, and orthopaedic surgeons. In Nelson specifically, we’re an active bunch — exercise is one of our favourite pastimes!
We keep things fun with morning quizzes, team challenges, casual social catch-ups, and the occasional after-work drink or lunchtime hike to the Centre of New Zealand.
Our clinic is right in the heart of Nelson’s CBD — just a short stroll from the city centre, a quick run to the beach, and surrounded by great coffee and lunch spots.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You will be a confident, skilled physiotherapist with strong clinical reasoning and a positive, can-do attitude. While two years’ experience is preferred, we are open to welcoming physiotherapists who can work independently and contribute effectively to our team.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
A strong interest in rehabilitation
Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
A proactive approach to professional growth
A current practising certificate (NZ), indemnity insurance, and professional membership
