If so, we have an exciting Physiotherapy role just for you!

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our growing team, delivering Hospital and Community Services across the Bay of Plenty region.

You will report to the Clinic Manager and Team Leader and be a vital part of our Tauranga team. While based primarily in the community, you’ll enjoy strong support from the team and access to our clinic base for meetings and resources. Plus, once you’re settled in, there’s flexibility to work from home.

  • Full-time role, but part-time hours considered for the right candidate

The role will include:

  • Completing private and ACC-funded physiotherapy assessments.
  • Providing patient education, training, treatment, and rehabilitation in a variety of community settings.
  • Providing patient assessment, treatments, and manual handling training sessions for staff in aged care facilities and private hospitals.
  • Providing physiotherapy services for private and ACC patients in private hospitals.
  • Participating in activities to promote, grow, and develop TBI Health’s community assessment and rehabilitation services in Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty region.

About the Tauranga team

Our team loves the outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, beach trips, and social events are regular highlights. Our bright, modern Tauranga clinic is in the CBD with six treatment rooms and a large rehab gym. We’re a close-knit team of 12 working across clinic and community settings.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a great attitude and shares our vision and values. Previous clinical experience of 2 years or more years would be advantageous.

Substantial orientation, training and support will be provided.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • A commitment to professional development
  • A current practicing certificate to work in New Zealand
  • A current practicing certificate to work in New Zealand, Professional Body Membership, and Indemnity Insurance
  • A full clean current driver’s licence
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above qualification
