About the Mahi (Role)
Are you an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist ready to take the next step in your career and develop your skills in Hand Therapy?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Hand Therapy service across the Mana and Kāpiti regions as an Associate Hand Therapist.
This permanent, part-time role (32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday) is split between our Mana and Kāpiti clinics, offering variety, flexibility, and the chance to work with a wide range of clients.
You will work alongside two experienced Registered Hand Therapists who will provide mentoring and guidance as you continue your journey toward registration. There is an opportunity that TBI may support your journey to become a registered Hand Therapist.
This role also gives you the chance to be part of two experienced multidisciplinary teams, where collaboration, support, and plenty of laughs are part of the working environment.
If you’re a motivated clinician looking for your next challenge in a supportive and fun environment, we would love to hear from you.
About the Kapiti Team
Our Kapiti team is a vibrant, multicultural group that values connection, collaboration, and high-quality care.
You’ll work in a modern, purpose-built clinic just a short walk from shops and cafés, alongside an experienced Hand Therapist, a supportive physio team, and friendly admins.
We’re committed to equity and cultural capability, building strong relationships with Māori health providers and local iwi to meet the diverse needs of our community.
About the Mana Team
The Mana team is a diverse, social, and collaborative group, enjoying quizzes, morning teas, coffee walks, and regular team gatherings.
Our renovated clinic overlooks Onehunga Bay and Whitirea Reserve, with easy access to the train station and parking.
Team members can also take on additional roles such as Contract Lead, Hauora Connect champion, Health & Safety Committee member, or Supervisor, contributing to our work in equity and building strong community connections with Māori health providers and local iwi.
