Job Description

About the Mahi (Role)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Physiotherapist with a passion for clinic-based work and rehabilitation.

You’ll work across our vibrant Auckland CBD clinic — just minutes from the waterfront and Commercial Bay — and our sleek new Remuera site alongside some of Auckland’s top orthopaedic specialists.

This is your chance to take the reins of a developing clinic and work both independently and collaboratively as part of a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, a hand therapist, a psychologist, and visiting specialists.

Your caseload will be varied, including ACC contracts, acute med fees, early intervention, and private clients. With strong support, mentoring, and extensive training, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your strengths and focus on the areas you’re most passionate about.

The key tasks include patient assessments and treatments, administration and reporting, liaison with colleagues, funders, and employers, and team meetings and training.

Benefits of joining TBI Health

At TBI Health, we value your mahi and commitment. In return, you’ll enjoy

  • Competitive salary and bonus structure.
  • Flexibility of hours and work locations.
  • Opportunities for career progression both locally and across NZ.
  • Regular meetings with the other clinics across the Auckland region
  • MDT meetings, in-services, literature reviews, and case studies.
  • Extensive internal training across all areas we work in.
  • Attend several training sessions during the year focused on teaching how to incorporate Māori tikanga in your role appropriately.
  • Subsidised health insurance with Southern Cross
  • Discounted gym membership at Jetts Fitness
  • Annual contribution to your career development and further qualifications.
  • Birthday Leave
  • Wellbeing allowance
