About the Mahi (Role)
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our Nelson team! This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role (40 hours per week), with flexible hours available for the right candidate.
You will support clients across the wider Nelson-Tasman region, delivering care in homes, workplaces, and community settings. Work may also include inpatient post-operative care, aged care, and, where appropriate, vocational or clinic-based physiotherapy.
You will be part of a friendly, collaborative multidisciplinary team, working across a variety of contracts, including Concussion, Training for Independence, Assessment Services, and Rest Homes.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct client assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
Deliver care across clinic and community settings
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
Document and report within Gensolve
Support clients through injury recovery and long-term wellbeing
Liaise with colleagues, funders, and employers
Participate in team meetings and professional training
Mentor and supervise junior physiotherapists within our integrated rehabilitation team
In this role, you will participate in MDT meetings, contribute to peer learning, and support service development. Throughout your work, you will be fully supported by the Nelson Clinic Manager and the wider team.

Desired Skills and Experience
About You
This is a clinical role, so you must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
The applicant requires a minimum of 4-years clinical experience.
Substantial orientation, training and support will be provided.
