About the mahi (role)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay.
This full-time role (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week) involves both clinic-based work and providing physiotherapy to home-based clients in the community. The position is ideal for someone with a mix of MSK and community experience, though we are open to discussing flexible arrangements for the right candidate. Full training and mentoring will be provided to help you grow in both areas.
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy
- Assess and treat clients with a variety of MSK, and neurological conditions
- Collaborate with funders, employers, and your MDT colleagues
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes
- Contribute to team meetings and weekly CPD/in-service sessions
- Gain experience across a range of ACC contracts, including ICP, Pain, Concussion, Rest homes, Med Fees, and Training for Independence

About You
This is a clinical role, so you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, along with a current practising certificate and indemnity insurance to work in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
You will have a minimum of four years’ clinical experience in New Zealand. Experience with ACC and other funded contracts is an advantage but not essential, as full orientation and ongoing training.
