Job Description
About the Mahi (Role)
We are looking for a motivated Community-Based Physiotherapist to join our vibrant, multidisciplinary team in Masterton, which includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, hand therapists, psychologists, and an exercise consultant.
This is a fixed-term parental leave cover role, running until July 2027, offering 20–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours and the option to work from home for administrative and reporting tasks.
You will work across a mix of aged-care facilities and community-based rehabilitation, supporting clients with a wide range of clinical presentations. Experience with respiratory or vestibular clients is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide education, treatment, and rehabilitation in a variety of community settings
Liaise with specialists, GPs, ACC, and other partners to support smooth rehabilitation pathways
Work across ACC contracts, including Training for Independence, SRNA, HCS, and Concussion, as well as private community work
Complete administration and documentation
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
This is a clinical position, so you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. We are seeking a Physiotherapist with at least 2 years of clinical experience, although new graduates are welcome to apply.

Has a current New Zealand Physiotherapy Board practising certificate
Holds professional indemnity insurance
Has a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
Is committed to clinical excellence and professional development
Demonstrates excellent organisational and communication skills
Can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Has an awareness of top-quality customer service
Is confident with IT systems, reporting, and electronic documentation
Holds a full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence
