Job Description
About the mahi (role)
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hand Therapist to join our growing team at TBI Health. This role offers flexibility across our Auckland clinics, ideally splitting time between our Ormiston and Remuera sites. For the right candidate, alternative arrangements can be discussed. While we’re ideally looking for a full-time therapist, we will also consider part-time candidates (30–40 hours per week).
Ormiston: Located within a medical centre opposite Ormiston Mall, with great coffee and a steady flow of referrals from GPs.
Remuera: Located within the Ascot Office, next to hand surgeons.
You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team (MDT) including hand therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, OTs, and specialists. Our MDT works across a variety of contracts, including Hand Therapy, Escalated Care, Return-to-Work programs, Pain management, TI contracts, and Early Intervention—bringing a diverse range of clinical experiences to your day.

Desired Skills and Experience
About You
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, share our vision and values, and bring a genuine interest in hand therapy. You will have at least 2 years of clinical experience in New Zealand, and substantial orientation, training, and support will be provided.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience as an OT or Physiotherapist
Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
Commitment to clinical excellence and professional development
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
Awareness of delivering top-quality customer service
Qualifications & Registration
Recognised degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
Current APC with relevant regulatory body (PNZ or OTBNZ)
Registered Hand Therapist with current membership in Hand Therapy New Zealand (HTNZ)
Professional body membership and indemnity insurance
Full, clean New Zealand Driver’s Licence
