Job Description
About the Mahi (Role)
We are looking for a motivated Community-Based Senior Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant, multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, hand therapists, psychologists, and an exercise consultant. This role covers a mix of community-based rehabilitation and vocational services, with opportunities to work across a wide range of clinical presentations.
In this role, you will:
Providing education, treatment, and rehabilitation in a variety of community settings.
Liaising with specialists, GPs, ACC, and other partners to support smooth rehabilitation pathways.
Completing administration and documentation with the flexibility to work from home.
Working across ACC contracts including Training for Independence, SRNA, HCS, Concussion and SAW, as well as private community work.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, with flexibility to manage your own diary and work autonomously.

Desired Skills and Experience
About You We are looking for someone with:
A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a minimum of 4 years’ clinical experience
A current full practising certificate for Occupational Therapy in New Zealand, relevant professional body membership, and indemnity insurance
A genuine interest in community rehabilitation
Excellent problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
Strong organisational and communication skills
A commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing professional development
The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Strong customer service awareness
A current, full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence
